Crispin is the conductor of The Musicall Compass http://www.themusicallcompass.com (a professional baroque ensemble of voices and instruments), and of two choral societies. He is also regularly engaged as a guest conductor by symphony orchestras, baroque orchestras and choirs.

Choritalia was founded by Crispin Lewis and Antonella Petrone, to fulfil their vision of combining a passion for choral music with the very best of Italian hospitality and culture. Our immersive and friendly choral course offers a shared experience of singing wonderful Italian and British choral music to a high standard in stunning surroundings with fine food and good company. We are very pleased to announce that bookings are now open for our chamber choir course in Tuscany, in the summer of 2023, 29 July - 5 August.

Stewarty Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (SAODS)
Active since 1951, the society performs a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta each November and a concert in the spring.
We rehearse and perform in Stewartby. Early rehearsals are held at the church hall, later rehearsals and the performances are at Stewartby Village Hall.

Putteridge Bury Gilbert & Sullivan Society, or PBGS for short, was founded in 1971 by Peter Jenkyns, lecturer at what was then the Putteridge Bury Teacher Training College in Luton, Bedfordshire, and June Pickard who was studying to become a teacher there.
